Oh, what an awesome job! I love the affectionate wolf pose, the fur, and the eyes^^

If you like Ruroken (anime) and you like wolves, you should watch Wolf's Rain! I really like this anime.
:iconparanoid-duckkie:
Yeah i've watched Wolf's Rain. The ending was very nice, But so confusing, It was kinda like the ending Of Wich Hunter Robin. But yes i do love that Show. That and Inuyasha, He may not be a wolf but he's close.

Well, I used real drawing tools for this. I used charcoal, and drawing pencils of many kinds. I don't even remember most of them. No photoshop in this picture. This was an excersize in finding shapes. The image is plit between two different shapes. A black shape and a white shape. I sued very light shading from that point to keep the lovely contrast up. For tips on shading, go to the picute of the firefly scene of Kenshin and Kaoru and look at the picture of the flower maiden. For tips on line drawing, look at Tomoe's Tears. Just remember that when you are looking at something, you are not looking at the object, rather the shapes created by the shades and the contours you see. Start by over simplifying and then worry about persision. If you want advice on scale, you can try looking at a photo or the real thing. For example, If I need to know where to draw the nose in the wolf, I may take my finger or a ruler and find out how long it appears to be. Then find out ham many of that length down it it and how hane over it is from a given point. Lets say that the ear appears to be about three inches in the picture and The nose was a whole ear length down and a half an ear length over. I would draw a very fine line going down three inches on the paper and over one and a hald inches and make a dot. I can erase the lines and now I know where to draw the nose. Get it? When you don't want to do very much detail or connecting things by lines, this is a valuable thing to know how to do. IT works with cartoon and anime pictures too!
