Kaoru's arms wrapped around him and she whispered that she loved him and that no matter what, they would always be together. Then she started to unfasten her kimono, but as she started, he heard another voice from behind him, he turned to see Tomoe there too, smiling at him lovingly.

"Do you still have room in your hart for me, my love?" She breathed at him, coming closer.

Soon, both woman's arms were wrapped around him, kissing him, and he was delirious, not even sure what to think. Heaven couldn't be better than this. After a few minutes of fond kisses, they left to get ready and he settled down with some tea to wait as they had instructed. But as he took his first sip, he heard footsteps running toward him. Already? He thought. But the voice that came with the feet was not something he wanted to hear.

"Himura!" He heard Shishio's voice exclaiming. "I love you, let's take over Japan together!"

He turned to see Shishio running at him, a look of adoration on his face.

"Oro?!"

"But you can't have all the fun, Shishio," He heard another voice saying, and looking to his left, he saw Saito sauntering toward him... looking a little too happy to see him.

"ORO!"

He woke up screaming. His heart pounding and his sakabatou in his hand. But all was quiet. He looked around. Nothing. He listened carefully, and heard the birds singing, but otherwise everything was still.

It was just a dream... he told himself. But all day long, he couldn't shake the feeling from him. Every rustling of bushes sent the nightmare back to him, every pair of feet walking in his direction had him spinning around, ready to run or defend himself.

This distracted and paranoid behavior was very unlike him, and before long, everyone else living at the Kamia dojo was just as worried. They didn't know what was wrong, but anything bad enough to scare Kenshin had to be pretty terrible.

The idea was to make a couple that would get everyone to say WTF? because there is no evidence of that paring what-so-ever. This is what I think would be the most unlikely pairing, so here you go. Enjoy the hilarity of Kenshin's bad dream.
